Westminster Christmas Concert

Join us tomorrow evening as joyous sounds of the season fill the sanctuary at Watkinsville First Baptist, for our annual Westminster Christmas Concert.  On Thursday, December 12th, Westminster students - elementary, middle school and the high school chorus - will present the 2024 Christmas Concert.  This night is such a special event as we come together to celebrate the birth of Jesus and kick off the Christmas season.    The concert will begin at 6:30 pm at Watkinsville First Baptist Church with doors opening for students and guests at 6 pm.

Christmas School Store Shopping ~ Monday, December 16th

Give them WCA fan gear under the tree!

Join us for our Christmas School Store shopping day on Monday, December 16th and give the gift of Westminster apparel this Christmas! The school store will be open in the upper school gym for shopping from 9:00 am-noon and again from 1:30-3:00 pm. We'll see you there!

Don't forget to order January lunches!

Boonli.com will be open until next Thursday - December 19th - for your January lunch orders.

If you are new to the WCA community, or if this is your first time placing an order, please follow these steps:

  • Go to Boonli.com
  • Click the link to “Register” at the top of the page
  • Enter the password for our school - WCA319
  • Follow prompts to complete your registration, including creating profiles for each of your students and placing them in their correct grade for 2024-2025 academic year.
  • Make your lunch selections and add them to your cart.
  • **Be sure to “check out” and pay after you've made your selections.  Your order is not placed until it's paid for!

Christmas Break

Westminster will be closed beginning December 23rd for Christmas break.  School will resume normal operations on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025.  Please know that Monday, January 6th, 2025 is a professional development day for faculty and staff.  We hope that this is a blessed time for you and your family as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Upper School Final Exam Days

Final exams for the upper school are coming up on December 18th - 20th.  During these days, high school students will take either final exams or complete projects.  Middle school students will have either a project or a test.  For those days, please know the following:

All upper school students will start at 8:05 and the school day ends at 11:15 on Wednesday the 18th and Thursday the 19th.
Students taking Latin or Spanish exams (grades 8th-12) will be on campus from 8:05 - 9:45 on Friday the 20th.

High School:

  • Wednesday, December 18th - English 8:05-9:35am, Science 9:45 – 11:15am
  • Thursday, December 19th - History 8:05-9:35am, Math 9:45 – 11:15am
  • Friday, December 20th - Foreign Language 8:05-9:45am (see note below about 6th and 7th grade students)

Middle School:  

  • Students will be completing projects or taking tests during the middle school times posted.  
  • Students will be on campus Wednesday and Thursday from 8:05 – 11:15.  
  • Only 8th grade students in Spanish 1 or Latin 1 will come in to take the final on Friday 8:05-9:45.

Friday, December 20th for the Lower School

On Friday, December 20th, the Lower School will be filled with excited children (and teachers!) ready for Christmas break to begin!  

Here's what you need to know as you make your plans:

Christmas Celebrations:  On the Friday before break, all lower school students will be celebrating Christmas with their teachers and classmates.  Look for an email from your child's teacher in the coming days with information.

Early Dismissal:  All lower school students will be dismissed at 9:30 am to begin their Christmas break. (upper school students are dismissed at 9:45 after their last exam)

No AfterSchool:  The After School program will not be available on this day, so please make arrangements to pick up your child(dren) at 9:30 am.

Rank One Parent Portal:

Rank One is our online platform for athletic forms. All physicals are required to be uploaded to this platform including signatures on the Participation Forms (Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Heat Policy) through RankOne. Simply click on the link provided here, “Rank One Online Platform” for additional instructions. 
If your Rank One account is up-to-date, thank you for your participation as no further action is required!

Spring Sport Interest Forms:

If your MS or HS student athlete(s) plans to participate in a spring sport, please select and fill out the correct form(s). Moving forward, athletic interest forms will be available for all spring, fall, and winter sports as we ask for one parent to complete this important requirement. 
If you have already filled out the necessary form(s), thank you for your participation as no further action is required!

After School Program & Registration

We are happy to be able to offer our After School extended day program to our parents who need additional childcare.  After School (available to all lower school students) begins at 2:45 with pick-up at 5:15 pm.  

After School Reminders:

  • Please remember that pre-registration (see process below) is needed for the after school program.
  • There are a limited number of spaces available for each day.  If you haven't pre-registered, and we reach our maximum number of students, your child will be unable to stay.
  • Additionally, please remember that a student in extended care may only be signed out by someone who is of driving age or older.
  • **Emergency contact form must be completed and returned before a child can stay for AfterSchool. Please follow this link for the form.**
  • Charges of $15 per day per session will be billed to your FACTS account on a monthly basis on the 15th of the month for the previous month.
  • Please know, that there will be a $10 fee for all late pickups.  
  • Pick-up time is by 5:15 pm.  Thank you for your understanding and assistance.

How do I sign up?

  • Click the link: After School Registration
  • Click the date your child will need to attend. If your child will attend every day of the month, or the same days each week, you may select "repeats" and choose daily or weekly. If After School reaches max capacity, you will see a red message that says "FULL" on the day. 
  • Click on the "Calendar" box and select “ASP SIGN UP”
  • Type student name(s) into the "Who" box
  • Type AS for After School.
