This Week at WCA - September 26th

September 26, 2023
By Admin

Please note these are not all-inclusive calendars. Always check the Google Calendar for additional events, updates and detailed information.

And they're off!

Three charter coaches, two WCA mini vans and multiple vehicles pulled out this afternoon full of excited people headed to the Upper School Impact Retreat at SharpTop Cove in Jasper!  The lower school students came out to wave them off and they departed with many prayers covering their travels and adventures. We pray that all - students, faculty/staff and parent volunteers - have an amazing and blessed time and we will welcome you home Friday!

Are you available to help?

Caps for Cure Re-Cap

You all are amazing!  A huge “thank you” to all members of our community who donated to this year's Caps for CURE fundraiser.  While we didn't exceed last years donation, we got close by raising $1,393!  Your generosity will help CURE fight childhood cancer through targeted research and supporting patients and their families.  Great job!

Fall Break 2023

We hope this year's Fall Break is on your calendar and that you are looking forward to a few days away from the school routine because WCA's Fall Break 2023 starts next week!  Westminster will be closed on October 6th, 9th and 10th and normal school operations will resume on Wednesday, October 11th.

Can you “do lunch” on Wednesdays or Fridays?

Are you looking for a place to volunteer at WCA?  We have a couple of openings if you are interested in helping with lunch distribution: Wednesdays 10:45-12:15 and Fridays 11:30-12:30.  Contact Tollie Ediger (tediger@wcalions.org) with questions.  Thank you in advance for your consideration!
